# CitedWeekly

> CitedWeekly is an AI search visibility tracker for small businesses, SaaS founders and small agencies. It checks whether AI assistants (currently ChatGPT and Gemini) recommend your business when buyers ask for recommendations, shows which competitors they name instead and which web sources they cite, and tracks this weekly. Key facts:
- What it does: writes realistic buyer questions for your category (for example "What's the best CRM for a dental clinic?"), asks each AI engine with live web search turned on, and records whether your brand is mentioned, its position in the list, the competitors named, and the URLs the answer cites.
- Engines checked: ChatGPT and Gemini. ChatGPT is queried through the OpenAI Responses API with web search; Gemini through the Gemini API with Google Search grounding. Perplexity is not currently checked. Claude, Grok, Microsoft Copilot and Google AI Overviews are not tracked.
- Score: a 0-100 visibility score per brand (70% weight on how often you are mentioned, 30% on how high you appear in the list), with week-over-week change.
- Free check: 5 auto-written buyer questions, no account or card needed; ChatGPT results appear in about 30 seconds and Gemini fills in shortly after.
- Weekly report (paid plans): every Monday by email, with your score, the brands AI recommends instead, the sources AI cites most, and 3 suggested actions. A dashboard lets you edit your buyer questions and known competitors.
